And now, quite literally at the top of the world.
16 floors up, surveying the kingdom as I stand over the remains of the Father of the Three...
The gods themselves fall before my blade... who shall oppose me now?

A combat begins with An Adventurer Combat results » Round 1 You draw your Longbow of Death and release an arrow towards your enemy.. Your arrow passes right beside the enemy who charges you. Round 2 With a well aimed stab pointing at the shoulders you hit your enemy for 2 points of damage 7 points of damage is what a hard swing does to you Round 3 A well aimed swing from your hands you take the head of your enemy
the amazing thing, I have no weapon

Three ladies (Posted by: [#133571] Princess Binosj and her pet Poro the Titan [DTEK] (Bruno Emans), dat: 2010-06-08 12:34:00)

There I go, princess and top10 warrior. My followers protect me and they too are among the strongest and bravest warriors in all Wallmork.
Then three ladies come and dare to insult me! Insult me? CHARGE...
"You are hit for 7 points of damage from a hard slash aimed at the torso The enemy uses a poorly aimed swing pointing at the arm to give you 10 points of damage"
Hmm, those little ladies are a bit stronger than I expected :-). That first hit on my superior armor shook all my bones and that second hit on my arm.... Brrrr.
I love them, strong girls :-)

A history lesson... (Posted by: [#17332] Grand Duke The Return of Tyrson the Titan [DTEK] (Tee Jay Green), dat: 2010-03-02 06:08:00)

I recently did a lot of cleaning, and one of the things I found were stories I had written, and thankfully printed out, for Warriors a LOOONNNNGGGGGG time ago. I just got done reading them. Then I spent an hour or so on Archive.org lookin up hurri.mine.nu. Did I mention Im putting off school work?
Anyway, since this forum is mostly dead, and I dont have the time Id like to write new stuff, I thought I could post some historical ramblings here.
Theyll be coming in no particular order, and the BIG ones will come out in pieces, in order, over a few days or a week or something.

This will take a while. Its basically a compilation of a lot of stories over the course of years.
The story that starts BEFORE clans were actually added to the game. It starts with the tale of an epic battle between the forces of good (FWP) and evil.
It then goes on in a few directions. One direction followed my account through races. It was a way of writing about my accomplishments, like my first titan or the red, and later blue runes.
The other direction followed the history of [FWP]. It starts with that battle, but then goes into the origins of The Scared Order of Galgar [SOG] and how it became the Fallen Order of Galgar [FOG]. Then it follows a character through those clans into The Valhallan Knights [VK]. Much later it picks up with the fall of Herot Academy [HA] and how [DTEK] and [FWP] came to join forces. Along the way itll mention other clans we have joined with or battled against.

Part 1: Herot (Posted by: [#17332] Grand Duke The Return of Tyrson the Titan [DTEK] (Tee Jay Green), dat: 2010-03-02 06:41:00)

My fellow citizens of Walmork, I have dire news in from one of [FWP]s scouts. Fellhorn the elf has replied to me directly that an army of 10,000 orcs is ravaging the countryside along the river heading north.
As some of you know Herot, [FWP]s fort, is located on the north side of Gorgon forest on the river bank facing the hills. The orcs will reach Herot in about 10 days. Herot, thanks to the smartest elven architects and the finest dwarven builders, is extremely fortified.
We have a standing garrison of about 500 warriors with another 300 out on quests who are being called back to Herot. 800 trained and disciplined warriors is a deadly match but not for 10,000 orcs. Even with the fort to help in the battle I fear we will loose.
It seems that the orcs are only part of the problem. I just received word from Dukette Helena the Titan that many evil warriors when hearing of a giant battle against [FWP] was approached they were opted to join the orcs against us. Possibly dozens or hundreds of them, it is too early to tell.
I issue a call to all warriors noble in heart: Heed my words, with more warriors fighting by our side we can not only destroy the evil warriors that plague our lands we can severely gash the growing orcish population.
Humbly, Ogg a troll
Offgame: I will be gone for the next 8 days on a camping trip, when I return I hope to finish this battle and start some new ones with a twist. ;)

Now in the darkest hours of night Lord Ogg, Duke Greir, Duke Craven, Hero RonAN, Heroine Searcia and several others exit the war room deep in the heart of Herot. They have spent a long night and have had many arguments but they have decided on many plans.
The defense of Herot according to new [FWP] standards will be thrice as strong as before. With many last minute additions to the surrounding lands they feel slightly more secure. The additions of pit traps and many pitch ditches will surely weaken the orchish force when the time comes.
Even as Ogg was retreating to his quarters dozens of heavily armed elves partnered with dozens of fierce dragon were unleashing hell on the enemies. The orcs were now within a days march of He rot and were expected by nightfall the coming day. The elves were raining down flaming arrows upon the orcs as they camped by the rivers edge. Torturous orchish screams pierced the night as they were burned alive. The orcs felt the fiery breath of dragons for hours until nearly the brake of dawn.
When the sun starting rising over the eastern hills the orcs saw what the nights attacks had done. Hundreds of orcs were lying charred upon the cindering earth yet not one dragon or elf was to be seen. Many of their supplies and barbaric orc siege devices felt the harsh wrath of [FWP].
Yet their greatest loss was that of the supreme chieftain. He, along with his guard of the largest and darkest orcs, were slain. Not buy fire but by dagger. Sir Legolas the Ranger had visited the camp that night as well. He slayed the chieftain and took his head from his body.
Now the orcs have lost their fiercest and smartest fighter. Sadly their determination grows directly with the magnitude of their losses. Now they are enraged and will march straight to Herot.
Dukette Helnas report of evil warriors descending unto Herot have been verified. A force around 50 strong will arrive shortly after the orcs. The group of warriors is strong and evil shadows cloud their ranks. A truly dire attack on Herot.
In a mere days time thousands of orcs will pour into the valley that Herot overlooks. Such a menacing force of evil has never meet the gates of this noble fort. Let us hope they will stand to repel another attack in the future.

(Message Altered by [#17332] Grand Duke The Return of Tyrson the Titan [DTEK] (Tee Jay Green))

(Message Altered by [#17332] Grand Duke The Return of Tyrson the Titan [DTEK] (Tee Jay Green))

It was dusk when the horns were blown. The watchmen saw the orcs start to pour over the hill to the west of Herot. Like a shadow thousands of figures cast them selves over the land. In the distance you could see smoke from the houses and the land that they set ablaze. Huge thundering drumbeats could be heard all around from the striking of hundreds of war drums at the same time.
The orcs were now just further then a bow shot from the walls of the fortress. While the warriors of [FWP], now nearly a thousand strong, were right on the inside of the walls. The day was fading away and darkness was consuming the sky. It was a cloudy, starless night. Storm clouds had been brewing all day.
Once all the orcs were over the hill and darkness had completed its take over of the sky the orc horns began to sound. With that hundreds rushed the walls with ladders and hundreds followed. [FWP]s archers began to let loose, mostly elven. The orcs began to fall as they ran but that wouldn´t stop their assault. Those who did manage to get ladders on the walls were either pushed off or slaughtered when they reached the top by human and dwarven guards.
A massive battering ram roofed with tin began to pound on the steel gates of He rot. Two dozen massive orcs made the giant capped ram swing again and again into the gates. Each impact left a dent and a ringing in anyone´s ears who heard the massive impacts.
The crude orcish siege machines began to hurl fire into the fortress. Luckily in preparation for the attack all the women and children were stationed at massive vats filled with water and all had buckets.
A few dragons could be seen soaring through the sky with [FWP] riders. They would sweep low and breath fire and launch arrows at the orcs from behind their flank. It was ordered that not many should attack until the ground battle was at hand. Then the dragons would be more deadly then they were now.
Now that the orcs were closer to the walls [FWP]s archers could begin to let the orcs feel their full wrath! At Ogg the trolls signal they let loose several flaming arrows into pitch soaked field! At once the fields around the wall leaped into flames. Hundreds of Orcs began to scream in pain and bum alive.
The fires began to ignite around the battering ram and sent the orcs screaming in pain or dying. The night was lit up in a dancing flickering firelight. What appeared to be huge siege towers could be seen in the distance getting closer to the fort.
[FWP] knew the fires would only stall the attack and kill few (in the big picture) of the orcs. Slowly they began to die down and the orcs fearlessly continued their assault. Now the outline of the massive wooden towers could be seen in the night. They were getting closer and closer.
Then out of the midnight air drums could be heard far in the distance. Coming from the west, the same direction the orcs came from. Except these were no orc drums, they were trolls! The orcs march has roused hundreds of trolls from their caves and homes in Gorgon hills. This was unheard of since King Efraim had given land to the trolls in return for peace with them.
The trolls hated [FWP] even since their patrols had started a few years ago after Herot´s completion. [FWP] constantly sent patrols of soldiers threw Gorgon hills and forest and threw the ancient plains to keep order and protect the innocent citizens. So the trolls were not waging war on King Efraim´s people but on [FWP], a small fraction of his people.
Now the torches could be seen approaching about a mile away. The orcs were quickly pleased with this. They soon doubled their attack force upon the walls. The ram was once again pounding on the battered door. The ladders were once again thrown upon the wall. And now the siege towers were against the wall letting dozens of orcs pour out onto the parapets.
The night grew darker ....

(Message Altered by [#17332] Grand Duke The Return of Tyrson the Titan [DTEK] (Tee Jay Green))

Ogg the troll lead a small troop of men screaming into the middle of a pack of orcs. [FWP]s warriors were inspired when fighting with Ogg. Ogg was a massive troll with fantastic equipment from his many adventures and quests. He had even been granted a Duke title from the king for slaying a dragon in the capital. Needless to say he slayed many vile foes that night.
Just when Ogg was going to strike down a orc champion an arrow just missed its mark, Oggs head, and struck the orc dead almost instantly. The orc fell to the ground screaming in pain. Ogg knew this was the work of a dark elf. He rallied his men and charged towards the hiding spots of the elves. Quickly a furious battle arose between the enemies.
When [FWP]s forces learned of the dark elves they were struck with rage and fear. They still had an army of orcs to slay and the elves were now attacking them from behind. The noble warriors quickly regrouped and started fighting both foes. Now [FWP] warriors were falling almost as fast as the orcs. A battle raged on even more chaotic and fierce then before. A new wave of rage was falling over the warriors and many began to berserk their enemies.
Ogg was slaying elves now along with orcs. His men were quickly dying some with terrible screams of pain from the elven poison. He had sustained a mighty axe wound to his back but fought on. Ogg was among one of the first to see the fresh army of evil warriors approaching. He quickly ran to mount his ancient white dragon who had been attacking orcs by the dozen. He sounded his home signaling for all dragon riders to mount and follow him.
Soon around a few dozen warriors were soaring through the sky on several breeds of dragons. They quickly rushed to the evil warriors who were now entering the town screaming battle cries. They unleashed hell on the warriors. Dragon´s flame, arrows, and bloody blades attacked the warriors. If they had been attacking orcs or even trolls they would of destroyed them easily. These were no orcs, they were battle worn warriors ready to kill. By now the warriors had joined the frenzy of orcs, trolls, Dark Elves, and [FWP] warriors. They were slaying [FWP]s troops like none of the other foes. Heavily armored and well armed they were even matches for [FWP] troops had [FWP] been fresh and not already in a long raging battle.
Ogg was flying full speed at what looked like the strongest warrior in the forces, it was. The warrior quickly armed himself with his mighty axe, which glowed with the magic of the devils. The warrior dodged Oggs attack and cleaved the dragon´s left wing clear off. With a mighty screech and thud the dragon hit the ground. Still ready for a fight Ogg ordered the dragon to deal with other weaker evil warriors.
Now Ogg was circling with Fenrir one of the evilest and strongest titans. Few titans had journeyed with the evil warriors but Fenrir was their leader. Quickly they began to battle. The massive titan matched Oggs giant troll strength. Oggs sword, blessed by Loke, rang with power as it struck Fenrirs massive axe. They battled back and forth each inspiring their men with bravery and heroism. [FWP]s warriors were fighting for the light of tomorrow they knew they wouldnt see. They were out number and out matched. They knew they would be slaughtered and Herot completely destroyed. This desperation made them fight harder since they had nothing to loose. All around they were killing and being killed.
Ogg was now beginning to loose his ground against Fenrir. Ogg swung low and cleaved deeply into Fenrirs leg but his sword had stuck in the bone a moment too long. This allowed Fenrir to drop his axe directly on Oggs right hand chopping it straight off. Now Ogg was fighting one handed and without the help of his shield. Then suddenly he had a vision of all the evil warriors and elves and orcs slain and [FWP] victorious.
This boiled his blood and he went into a mindless berserk. He sung his sword at lighting speeds with godly strength. Fenrir was taken off guard and was dealt a deadly blow the chest. Ogg recoiled and swung again this time his sword was falling fast from the upper left of Fenrir and Fenrirs axe was swinging up from the bottom right of Ogg. Ogg dealt a fatal blow cleaving Fenrirs head right off and Fenrir dealt a mortal blow chopping Ogg in half like a log.
Now Ogg the trolls body laid in three pieces bruised and bloody on the battlefield dead. [FWP]s forces were facing the same fate. The evil warriors had moved in completely for attack. The elves were slaying warriors with ease from atop of piles of rubble formerly buildings. What was left among the trolls and orcs were the strongest who had lasted. They too were still hell-bent on destroying [FWP].
Then without warning a burst of thunder rang out from the home of the gods and a terrible storm started to pour water from the heavens like no other storm ever known. out of a great and thick fog a giant force of over 1000 titans lead by Daribow the Heavy Knights Commander of Valhalla came rushing into the battle.
They seemed to appear right next to the battleground and charged in all ready lusting for battle. Quickly they slaughtered all the evil warriors and all the trolls and all the orcs and all the dark elves. Before anybody knew what was happening the evil forces already laid dead upon the ground and not a single titan was killed.
The few reaming forces of [FWP] were badly injured or dying. The entire fort of Herot had been destroyed. All the buildings were burnt and the walls had crumbled. The piles of flaming rubble now lay smoldering and hissing from the cool rain. The rain began to wash the blood from the bodies and into the earth. The entire ground ran red and black with the blood of the fallen. The God Daribow spoke, "Never forget what has happened here today." With that he disappeared among a giant flash of light a burst of thunder. Now an ancient titan began to take charge of the mighty army.
Within hours thousands of evil creatures bodies were in a massive pile bigger then any ever known to this world. Left as a sign to the evil in the world that they will not prevail. Most of the fallen noble warriors of [FWP] were laid on a massive raft built by the titans. The raft was on its way to the sea where it would be lit on fire and set out to sail. Few of the noblest warriors were set in their own ships sent of to the same fate.
Oggs body was also sent to sea in his own ship. His ship was filled to capacity with weapons and am10ur to aide his armies in the next life. They had found his body fallen in the field next to Fenrirs body. Neither Fenrir´s head nor Ogg´s hand was there. Both were missing.
Now [FWP] must recover from these horrible attacks. With less then 1/5th of their original force they must start from the beginning. They must rise from the ashes and rebuild Herot and restore their al111ies to their former glory.

(Message Altered by [#17332] Grand Duke The Return of Tyrson the Titan [DTEK] (Tee Jay Green))

The End of Part 1 (Posted by: [#17332] Grand Duke The Return of Tyrson the Titan [DTEK] (Tee Jay Green), dat: 2010-03-06 17:14:00)
|
|
That concludes part 1. Which if I remember correctly was written when the clan system (or maybe clan buildings) were introduced to the game.
Since I had written that FWP had a great fortress before those features were available in the game, when they came out it seemed odd that wed only have a clan shack. So I wrote a story to destroy the fortress, so wed have to start building one again.
It also coincided with me finishing my first troll, so it was time for my first Titan character: Tyrson, a titan born in war (Ogg dying in the above epic battle).
|
|
Part 2: Tyrson (Posted by: [#17332] Grand Duke The Return of Tyrson the Titan [DTEK] (Tee Jay Green), dat: 2010-03-06 17:20:00)
|
|
Tyrson the titan looked upon the world of Walmork for the first time. His father Tyr, the god of war and the patron god of justice, smiled for he knew the fate of his son. Like his father Tyrson inspires courage and heroism in battle. His father is the boldest of the gods and Tyrson is one of the boldest titans.
Tyrson grimaced as he looked down upon his right arm the hand was missing. Yet from his left hand he could feel great power for upon a finger was the Anchent Ring of Loke. As he looked at the stump on his right arm flashes of a battle came to him, only everything was red and blurred. Instantly rage rushed through his veins as he began to remember the battle with Fenrir. Before long he remember everything that has happened to him over four life times. Just born into this world and he was wise with lifetimes already.
He had remembered fighting for a cause and leading an army for that cause. His mind became sharp and his started to run. He knew where he must go, to Herot. He must learn of [FWP]s fate. For three days and three nights he ran like the son of a god never slowing or stopping. He arrived at Herot. Looking over it from a hilltop near by he could see only devastation. The entire fort was laid in rubble nothing was left standing. Near the fort was a massive pile of bodies mostly orcs. He could see some makeshift shelters made but no one around. He didnt know to which side the shelters belonged so he crept up. Wielding his saber he was a fearsome adversary.
He was close to the shelters when a huge titan of great strength stormed out already armed with her Godly Gemed Longsword of the titan and headed for him. Tyrson immediately recognized her as the mighty Dukette Helena. He called out to her "Helena it is I Dounil, Rok, Uric, and Ogg reborn!" A great grin came across her face, a sight rarely seen in the past days. Over the next two hours she told him all about the huge army of Titans lead by the God Daribow and their great success against the forces of evil. They discussed the plans they would execute in the coming times.
Dukette Helena was summoned by the gods to help fight battles in the secret mountains so she would leave in 2 days time. Duke Segen and Dukette Searcia were selected to take charge of the rebuilding of Herot. They were busy summoning many warriors from around the entire land. Tyrson had plans of his own. He had several quests he was determined to complete, no matter what it takes. HE would seek justice ....

The final breath (Posted by: [#169631] Grand Duke Anarion the Titan [DTEK] (Vebjørn Bugge), dat: 2010-01-25 18:01:00)
|
Anarion looked around him. He had made his way through the jungle, and killed every last pirate in the Pirate Cave, and brough treassures out of it. A bit strange though, the most valuable treassure he found was not gold, but some weird cloth.
The tailor said he could use that special type of cloth. So now I stand here, with my new item, and looking around at this beautifull island. 592 days Anarion had lived, and with a new blue rune and the item made of the new cloth he found, he felt at peace.
Now he would go into the jungle and dissapear for ever. Or would it be for ever? The nice thing about warriors is that you reborn, clean and pure, and ready for new adventures

"This setting means that the companion will stay away from the battle as long as its possible, this will make him/her safe as long as you are not totaly overrunned by enemys." is what it says about passive, dont know what that means though

Ah, well that sounds like a reasonable interpretation :) But it could also be that they make it easier for you to flee just before you die, just like it was easier to flee when you had lots of followers.

Well, I wasnt close to dying either, and when I think about it, I didnt see them die in the battle log, so I guess they ran away. But they did all have 100% loyalty. Bravery Im not sure about, but it was at least decent if you consider that they were non-fighting characters. And seroiusly, how much bravery is needed for "hiding as good as possible during the battle"? ;)

Then again, I think this one is ok (compared to dragons for instance) since a legion of trolls would probably seek and (try to) destroy destroy your little army. We should check it for balance issues though.

The final gift (Posted by: [#139876] Lady Alorra the Elf (Gadde Håkansson), dat: 2009-02-20 14:54:00)

There I was, outside the recruit station, reading a sign about the various requirements for the jobs in the army. Didn´t look too promising - I was considered to be a poor knight, infanterist and pathfinder, and even worse - an awful commander. But hey - I would be a good archer! That would suit me well, being a very dextrous and skilled elf, even gorgeous enough to be named after a mighty female elvish champion in another game.
But then I thought "But hey - GOOD?! What´s so good about being good?? Hmm... Let´s see, I think I have a shield somewhere in my bag blessed by the almost-as-dextrous-as-me god Loke that could help me out a bit. Wait a minute - what is this? A christmas present! Wow, those are rumoured to contain the mightiest of items! This could really give me a boost here! Maybe I could even kick some butts in the archery contest before I join the king´s suicide mission."
Then I opened the present, and this is what happened...
"You unwrap the package but you cant find noting but coal inside Maybe you should have waited until Christmas eve?? (Wait until 24th or 25th of December if you want to find something useful inside the Christmas packages)"
Aww, dammit! I was so pissed off that I threw the coal away, accidentally hitting a royal guard in the face, and yeah, that´s kind of how I ended up here in prison, thanks for asking, how about yourself?

Epic Quest (Posted by: [#36012] Grand Duke Legacy the Dwarf [TFD1] (Atle Svartis), dat: 2009-02-03 02:09:00)

The man got up from his bed in the Inn one morning, expecting routine explorations on the countryside for yet another day in hope of finding just what he needed of all the equipment lost over the years all over the world by countless unlucky victims. Just the equipment needed to improve his own skills just a tad better, so that he wouldnt became a victim of fate himself.
This day suddenly appears very different from what he expected, as he hears the commotion in the Inn even before opening the door. Slowly walking in with senses open, he overhear talks among the commoners, flocking around some note posted on the reward board on the main wall.
King Efraim calls for every soldier, thief and adventurer to defend Walmork from the risen dead! This seems not to be the common undead slug though, but those risen from the former ranks of the King himself. Cold sweat spreads down the back of the seasoned warrior. Long have he envied the strength of former heroes that gave their lives in great battles to defend the City of Light. Often had he wondered if he ever would be able to make such a name for himself.. And now he would fight the very people whom he had admired since he was a toddle deep in the mines..? A grin slowly spreads across his face.
For what have seemed like ages, the sturdy dwarf has dodged wicked clubs, chopped bony arms and crushed rusty armor plates. He had worked harder than he remembered having done in years, and the tiredness laid heavy over his eyes. Still, when watching over his shoulder, he saw others still chopping away in strength, and others advancing. Even with an amazing reward promised for the one that ascended to the Champion of the battle, he thought glumly that he simply was too old to really compete for that title. Perhaps he would soon become like the undead, and be one of many to be cut in pieces for the honor of others.
With those dark thoughts the dwarf put his axe on his back and went back to the Inn for the night.

Waking a Princess... (Posted by: [#151527] Duke Dub Buk från Nordland the Dwarf [FoDm] (John Schaeffer), dat: 2008-12-13 17:55:00)
|
Silently Dub Buk walked into the Fort Doom, home of his warriors. He was quite unprepared, a Dwarf going to visit one of the most feared warriors alive... or just sleeping? The princess Durus had been ill for some time, sleeping months - many months. But there was news Dub Buk had heard, something that she might fight interesting and exciting. Worth breaking her slumber? He hoped so, a lot he did... just not wanting to do wrong, some of his forefathers had seen her walking, fighting, drinking... but for many in the Fort Doom, Durus was more a legend, some warrior who had lived and was now sleeping in deep slumber.
Yet fearless he walked towards her quarters, they were hidden in the deeper parts of the Fort between some old gears of war and a collection of old rubbish, remains of failed technological tests, things useful for war but not worth being used as far better things had been developed. As he stood before the door, he felt his hands sweating, what happened to him here? He could slay dragons, Demonlords and Elves, he hated Elves... poor creatures, stealing rare items from his fellow Dwarfs... but now he stood before this door that has been closed so so many moons. The door opened creaking and pale light fell into the room. At first he could not see much but darkness and some mighty weapons, boots and other equipment, among other things he had never seen, strange and somewhat evil.
In the corner she laid, the sleeping Princess Durus. He just whispered her name, not daring more. That must have looked bizarre...the Dwarf with his weak gear, things he had found just days ago standing before the sleeping Titan who had mighty gears she had owned for many years by now. But whispering alone was enough to break her slumber... Durus seemed to wake up. She roared, still sleepy and sat up, looking around a second until she saw him. Dub Buk lowered his head and said "Greetings mighty Princess, I.." but his words were cut off as she started speaking "WHO are you to dare entering my room, warrior?! I sure hope your reason is noble unless you want to die a quick death" and looked into his face. Dub Buk slowly nodded and silently answered "My name is Duk Buk... you might remember one of the people before me, over the time there were some who shared the name. Yet this reason you talk about, Princess, is worth... I think.. errr know. You are a strong warrior, I think you killed many of the greatest creatures alive. Some time ago the King lost his Crown Princess in a battle far away." He looked at her and smiled "May I say, you think..., wouldnt it be nice to make a life for the King and become his Crown Princess? I would be honoured as many others, too, if you could go do the job the King requires all volunteers?" He knew she would not disagree, only few were qualified enough and willing to take the risk of pain or even death on the battle field.
Her reaction was yet unexpected for him when she stood up to her full height and slowly walked towards him, giving him a hug. She smiled and said "That is indeed a reason to enter my room and wake me. I... I dont know what happened, there were so many battles, so much blood I saw and sure... Dub Buk, I know some of your people, they were brave warriors but when I look at you... yet a Dwarf but the gods are with you, that is certain." She nodded to him "Thank you for the information, so now I shall gather my weapon and armour and visit the King, he needs a warrior at his side to fight the war" and shortly later left the room in her shining armour.
Dub Buk smirked as he also left her room, heading for some prayers in the Temple. Durus would sure need all support she could get. Some hours passed and Durus appeared in the Temple, too, praying some time, bidding the gods for aid in the upcoming battle. Dub Buk smiled at her and wished her the luck needed.
Again time passed, hour by hour... after midnight the ground shook, something must have happened. Dub Buk left the Temple and ordered his Dragon to fly northwards where a gloomy light was shining across the mountain tops. Was it real, had she made it? It seemed so, arriving at the spot a huge beast was laying dead before a somewhat tired Durus. A large group of armoured men was standing around her, she truely had the charm of leading those men into battle day by day even if it meant for them to die a brutal death... they would still find the way to the doors of Valhall. Durus smiled happily at him and nodded "Yes.... indeed, it was worth waking me! Look... the beast is dead and the King can be proud of his new Crown Princess. It was a long and hard battle... I thought I wouldnt kill the thing, but before I let my sword sink to the ground I killed it... entirely, chopped off the head, stabbed it into its sides and my trustful fellows here also did their part of weakening the beast so I could kill it. You see...", she stopped and kicked with her foot against the cadaver, "that ... thing even killed some of my men but in the end we were stronger, I know the gods were on my, on our side giving me the strength to kill what had to be killed." She patted her dragon and smiled "You have done well, too", then gathered the trophy of war to bring it to the King as proof she had succeeded. Dub Buk stood aside and looked at her wishing she was a Dwarf...

Well then I guess Ill have to show up again too. Then dominate everyone.
I always had a knack for recruiting. When other "big clans" had 30 people, FWP had 120! We could have had more, but we didnt want to recruit into FOG. That was our exclusive little clan we used to pummel the ladies of Sworn... well at least when our BP was low enough for it to be at least interesting.
Our forums are usually more active then these forums. I honestly think that if you old timers had left your clans and joined FWP, you would have stayed interested in the game longer. Were fun, smart and active.
I realize I havent been active, but when I stopped by our clan forums yesterday, I had hundreds upon hundreds of unread posts. Still going through them.
Good times. Good times.
